All babies that leave Emerald Isle Hedghogs are registered with the International Hedgehog Association and come with a birth certificate, lineage chart, a supply of food and unlimited pre/post sale support and help.

 

Terms of Sale/Health Guarantee Information
 **Please read these terms completely as you will be have to sign a similar agreement before we place a baby in your home. Refusal to do so will void the sale**

 

All of our babies will come with a small bag of food, a printed care sheet, pedigree, and the required USDA paperwork. We provide 24/7 pre and post sale support. We also register all our babies with the International Hedgehog Registry.  We will supply you with that info as well. If you are purchasing your baby with the intention of breeding them I have no problem with that as long as you are honest up front. We will do our very best to guide you in the right direction. If we feel at any time you are being less than honest with us regarding your intentions for our offspring then we will halt the sale immediately and if a deposit has been placed we will NOT refund it so please be honest and up front regarding your intentions. Each baby in our home is handled daily and we love them very much we will not sell them if they will be placed in a harmful or neglectful situation and you may be asked to prove you are the best home possible for our baby.

 

 

Emerald Isle Hedgehogs has the understanding that when you decide to purchase a hedgehog, that you do so with great thought and care and that you have done your due diligence in researching their care. Therefore, we have come up with a graduated refund/exchange scale.

 

*If a buyer determines that the hedgehog is not the right pet for them, we will purchase the baby based on the following Refund Scale:

1-14 days 100%

14 - 30 days 50%

30 - 90 days exchange only

After 90 days Determined on a

case by case basis

*In all cases, we prefer owners contact us for re-housing help if they are unable to keep their hedgehog is

 

Emerald Isle babies are warranted for one year from date of purchase against medical and physical defects. Additionally, each carry a lifetime warranty against any kind of genetic defect that arises later in life. We strive to prevent genetic diseases by breeding responsibly and with integrity.

 

Hedgehog babies can be reserved once they are sexed, we require a deposit of $50.00 upon reservation request and the amount of time we hold the baby will be determined on a case by case basis. We will make no exceptions to this rule!! We take reservations as a customer courtesy and if we hold a baby past the agreed upon time period your deposit will be forfeit. We prefer certified funds but will accept personal checks with the understanding your baby may not be picked up until we receive confirmation from your bank that the check has cleared.
